# Change where options display

If your Infinite Options fields are appearing in the wrong place, such as above your Shopify variants, you can easily move them.

You control where options appear by placing the **Infinite Options app block** inside your product template.

You can position options:

* Above your variant selectors
* Below your variants selectors
* Below your variant selectors
* Above or below the quantity selector
* Above or below the Add to Cart button

### Where Infinite Options Can Display

The Infinite Options app block can be added to:

* Product pages
* Featured product sections that display a single product

Options will **not** appear on:

* Collection pages
* Quick view popups
* Homepage sections that display multiple products

Infinite Options can be moved anywhere inside the product form.

You can move the app block anywhere within the product form layout. However, it cannot be placed between Shopify variant selectors.

For example, if your product has multiple variant dropdowns, such as Size and Color, the Infinite Options block cannot be inserted between those dropdowns.

## How to Move Your Options (Most Stores)

**Most Shopify 2.0 themes use the app block method.**

### Step 1: Open the Theme Editor

From your Shopify admin:

1. Go to **Online Store > Themes**
2. Click **Customize**

### Step 2: Open Your Product Template

1. Use the top dropdown menu in the theme editor
2. Select **Products**
3. Choose your product template (usually **Default**)

### Step 3: Move the Infinite Options Block

1. In the left sidebar, locate the **Infinite Options Fields** block
2. Drag and drop it to your preferred position inside the product information section
3. Click **Save**

Your options will now appear in the new location.

#### Using installation code (older or 1.0 themes)

If your theme does not support app blocks, you can install a small snippet to control the placement. Follow the standard installation guide for details.

### Quick troubleshooting

**My options are stuck at the top of the page**\
This usually means the Infinite Options block or snippet has not been added yet. Add the block in your theme editor and place it where you want it.

**I changed themes, and my options moved**\
Each theme has its own layout. When you switch themes, you will need to re-add the Infinite Options block or snippet.
